The Pacific Design Center, or PDC, is a 1,600,000-square-foot (150,000 m2) multi-use facility for the design community in West Hollywood, California. One of the buildings is often described as the Blue Whale because of its large size relative to surrounding buildings and its brilliant blue glass cladding.

Collin is the Urban & Community Forestry Projects Manager and an ISA Certified Arborist for the Neighborhood Design Center. He is a graduate of McDaniel College with a degree in Environmental Policy and Management. His work centers on administering the Right Tree, Right Place (RTRP) program in Prince Georges County. The RTRP program focuses on expanding, maintaining and managing the Prince Georges County tree canopy. Community engagement and collaboration with residents are fundamental to the program goals of bringing equitable tree projects to Prince George's County residents. Before NDC Collin worked on native ecosystem restoration, forest regeneration, and environmental education.
Since 1968, NDC has worked on over 4,000 projects in the state of Maryland.

Put Yourself on the MapCenter for Global Migration StudiesParticipate in an interactive mapping project to create a visual representation of immigration to Maryland. A .boston.gov website belongs to an official government organization in the City of Boston. While designer registration is not required for admission to PDC, it is strongly advised. Each showroom will qualify design professionals and trade buyers when they enter unless they are not already a known customer of the showroom.

This Guidebook (2021) contains practical tools, a critical history, and inspiration for neighborhood light projects. Jackie is the Operations Manager supporting NDC in human resources, technology, office management, and accounting. She has a dual Master's in Innovation Management from IAE - Aix en Provence, France, and North Carolina State University. She is passionate about evaluating and improving systems from a human-centered approach. In her free time, you can find Jackie exploring local hidden gems or relaxing near a large body of water. We bring people together, build capacity, conduct research, and provide top-notch design and planning services (often for pro bono).

Working with volunteer professionals, we assist with architectural, landscape, and planning initiatives in Baltimore City and Prince George’s County. This guide makes designers more aware of who will inhabit a space, the neighborhood in which it exists, and the surrounding environment to more sensitively drive equity in their practices. Holding an architect license in the state of Maryland, Karla is developing the Arts Space Technical Assistance program at NDC. She offers guidance to local artists and arts groups in defining their spatial needs while also complying with life safety code. Her passion to uplift underserved communities began at Norwich University where she received her Masters of Architecture.
